The Federal Commander Digital System is Codespear-enabled. This system is
unmatched in its features and ease of use. The Federal Commander Digital System
offers Emergency Management Directors and System Operators complete, secure
activation and status monitoring of any siren system. Federal Commander consists
of the SS2000D encoder, the SFCDWARE package, digital Siren Controllers, and
optional EMTools and Codespear software. Designed with Federal's modular
philosophy, the system can grow to accommodate changing community needs. From
one CCU (computer) and one RTU (remote terminal unit), the system can expand to
include more than 250 RTUs, 16 zones, and digital tone alert receivers. As a
Codespear-enabled software application, Federal Commander can now allow
operators and administrators a single application for managing their critical
communications to both first responders and citizens. Federal Commander can be
used to activate sirens and send text and voice messages to any devices,
anywhere, and at any time.

 | Federal Signal's Modulator Series Siren, a family of electronic sirens, produces
high intensity warning signals over a large area. A Modulator siren consists of
an omni-directional speaker array and a siren control unit/battery cabinet
(purchased separately - see the UltraVoice Electronic Siren Controller). A
highly efficient design enables the siren to produce a high sound level, while
making moderate demands on the battery power source.
The innovative
Modulator Siren Series speaker array consists of modules that utilize four (4)
100-watt drivers per module. The Modulator is available in several models rated

 | The Eclipse8 is the newest siren developed and now manufactured by Federal
Signal. It is a part of the Eclipse Siren Series that also includes the
EclipseNH. This new siren is a mid-range, DC-powered, omni-directional unit that
is ideal for outdoor warning. Unlike the EclipseNH, the Eclipse8 has 8 projector
horns that gives this highly efficient siren the ability to produce a maximum
sound pressure level of 115 dBC at 100 feet. The siren can have full battery
operation or it can have battery back-up. It also operates from 46VDC and
utilizes the DC motor of Federal Signal's 2001 Siren for proven reliability. The
Eclipse8 is the perfect solution for preparing a community for any All-Hazard

 | The EclipseNH is one of the newest sirens developed by Federal Signal and is a
part of the Eclipse Siren Series. This new siren is a mid-range, DC-powered,
omni-directional unit that is ideal for outdoor warning. The EclipseNH has been
designed to be very efficient and can produce a maximum sound pressure level of
107 dBC at 100 feet. This siren has a 100% aluminum design and can be either
roof mounted or pole mounted. With additional options of full battery operation
or battery back-up, the EclipseNH is a perfect solution for protecting a

 | Federal Warning System's Electronic Directional Speaker Array, model DSA, is
comprised of 1, 2, 3 or 4 vertical support structures with two to six re-entrant
speaker array projectors mounted on each vertical support stack. Each vertical
support structure can be positioned at 90° or 180° intervals (refer to
specification sheet). Each speaker array has 70° horizontal angle of dispersion.
When the vertical support stacks are positioned at 90° apart, a 180° horizontal
coverage is produced.
A vertical support stack consists of an aluminum
structure with fiberglass speaker array projectors, stainless steel mounting
hardware and one commercially available 100 watt driver per speaker. The DSA is
available in several models, DSA2, DSA3, DSA4, DSA5 and DSA6. Decibel output
range is from 111 to 121 dBC. The DSA speaker array requires no maintenance
except for periodic speaker tests.

Federal Signal's Model 2 is an omni-directional
outdoor warning siren capable of producing intense warning tones over a wide
area. The highly efficient model 2 produces a single tone sound level of 102 dBC
at 100 feet on axis while making moderate power source demands. The siren can be
installed on a roof or a utility pole.
A timer can be purchased
separately to enable the siren to produce 3 signals. The FC will produce a
