- Scanning with Nuisance Delete A scan list allows each
worker to stay informed of other work groups' activities. Use Nuisance Delete to
temporarily suspend scanning a specific channel.
- Programmable Option Button (via Service Software) Allows
the radio user to control either Repeater/Talk Around, Local/Distance or Monitor Control
functions. With Repeater/Talk Around, the user can select between repeater communications
and direct unit-to-unit communications. Local/Distance allows the user to adjust the
radio's sensitivity. The Local setting increases interference protection within a limited
coverage area in congested urban locations. Monitor Control allows the radio user to
enable or disable PL/DPL codes to check for channel activity. PL/DPL codes filter out
annoying conversations of other groups that may be sharing your radio frequencies.
- Time Out Timer & Busy Channel Lock-Out Time-Out
Timer limits the amount of time the radio can transmit to prevent users from accidentally
tying up a channel. Busy Channel Lock-Out automatically prevents users from transmitting
while other groups are using a channel.
