- Flexible Mounting Solutions. Super-compact size plus a
complete offering of mounting and audio accessories solve a variety of installation needs

visual and audible radio status alerts.
- Dedicated Monitor Control Button. Monitor control allows
the radio user to enable or disable PL/DPL codes to check for channel activity. PL/DPL
codes filter out annoying conversations of other groups that may be sharing your radio
frequencies.
- Programmable Option Button (via Service Software) Allows
the radio user to control either Repeater/Talk Around or Local/Distance functions. With
Repeater/Talk Around, the user can select between repeater communications and direct
unit-to-unit communications. Local/Distance allows the user to adjust the radio's
sensitivity. The Local setting increases interference protection within a limited coverage
area in congested urban locations.
- Time-Out Timer and Busy Channel Lock-Out. Time-Out Timer
limits the amount of time the radio can transmit to prevent users from accidentally tying
up a channel. Busy Channel Lock-Out automatically prevents users from transmitting while
other groups are using a channel.
- Expansion Capability. Available option boards can be
"plugged in" to the RadiusPort, expanding the radio's capabilities.
